ALL IN Painting has spent several years improving and refining our cabinet painting process and products. Our professional painting process, using the most durable paint, will refresh and beautify your old, tired-looking cabinets with a baked-on smooth finish, and bring them back to life! We can also add new hardware, a new backsplash, add accent carpentry like shiplap on your island, or crown molding on your uppers. All this will give your kitchen cabinets a fresh, new look at a fraction of the cost of new cabinets.
Most companies use lacquers or trim/door paint to refinish cabinets. At ALL IN Painting, we import a superior two-part polyurethane paint from Italy called Milesi. This product is specifically designed for durability and excellent resistance to liquids and abrasions. This is the same paint used by cabinet manufacturers on new cabinets that you would buy.
We can minimize the wood grain look or bring it back to life. It is all your choice! Adhesion is the key to successfully beautifying and refreshing your kitchen cabinets. This is accomplished by a thorough cleaning, etch sanding, and then applying an oil base primer. Finally, we apply two coats of Milesi for a fabulous finish that is backed by our Lifetime Touch-Up Promise.

Before & Afters
Lifetime touchup promise
Even though we are using the best products and processes available, no coating will last forever. We are willing to provide touch-ups to correct issues due to product failure or normal wear and tear at no cost for as long as you live in the home.
OUR THREE-STEP PROCESS
Protect: Our ALL IN Painting professionals will utilize all of the techniques we have developed to protect your home and ensure that paint only goes where it is supposed to go. We use X-board floor protection, which is specifically designed with a spill block technology that protects the floor in your kitchen. Paper and plastic are used to protect your counter tops, appliances, and everything else while we paint your kitchen cabinets.
Clean: We clean your cabinets with warm water and a degreaser to remove any dirt or grease that may contaminate the paint or cause adhesion issues.
Remove Cabinet Doors and Drawer Fronts: After cleaning, we will label and remove all door and drawer fronts and hardware, and take them to our custom spray booth located at our Greenwood office.
Sanding: The existing finish on your kitchen cabinets, whether stained or painted, will be sanded to etch the surface for optimal adhesion of our primer and paint. Proper adhesion can only be achieved with the cleaning and sand etching process.
Priming: The next step in the process is to apply the Shellac Primer. This is an industry-wide choice that ensures proper paint adhesion and blocks staining. We provide only the best for our clients who go ALL IN with ALL IN Painting!
*Note: If you have oak cabinets, we will apply a second coat of primer to fill in the dark or shadowing effect of the wood grain. We cannot eliminate the texture look of oak cabinets, but we can give you a solid paint color.
3. PAINT AND FINISH
Painting: We will then apply two coats of our imported Italian Milesi paint, a state-of-the-art two-part polyurethane finish. This process mirrors what the kitchen cabinet manufacturers have used for years on new kitchen cabinets. We have adopted this method because it is a platinum standard for cabinet painting.
All cabinet doors and drawer fronts are sprayed in a custom designed spray booth at our cabinet spray shop. The actual cabinet boxes are painted right in your kitchen. We use either a brush or roller for a minimal texture, or we spray for a factory finish*, depending on your preference. *This smooth finish is just like you would get with brand new cabinets.
After we finish painting, we will put your cabinets back together. We will install new or existing hardware and clean up the work area to its original state. As with all of our ALL IN Painting services, we will perform a final quality inspection with you, our client, to ensure your complete satisfaction.

How long will it take to complete a cabinet refresh project?
Three to five days is the average length of a cabinet painting project. This may vary depending on the number of cabinet doors and drawer fronts.
How much will this cost?
A complete kitchen cabinet painting refresh is a fraction of the cost of a remodel with new cabinet replacement. Most kitchen cabinet replacement projects will cost from $15,000 to $45,000, depending on the quality. Our average cabinet painting project will cost from $3,500 to $5,000, depending on the number of cabinet doors and drawer fronts. Custom home kitchens can sometimes be a little higher than $5,000 due to the number of doors and drawers, wine racks, and oversize doors.
