At ALL IN Painting, we have spent years perfecting our cabinet painting process and products. Refresh tired and worn-out cabinets with our professional painting services, which use the most durable paint available and give your cabinets the look and feel of new cabinets at a fraction of the cost. Complete the transformation with new hardware, a new backsplash, or accent carpentry like shiplap or crown molding.
While most cabinet refinishing companies use door paint or lacquers, we instead import a high-quality two-part polyurethane paint from Italy called Milesi. This paint is specially designed for high durability and exceptional protection against moisture and abrasions. In fact, it’s the paint of choice for cabinet manufacturers when making brand-new cabinets.
With our specialized cabinet refinishing process, we can either minimize the wood grain on your cabinets or help bring it back to life depending on your design choices. The key to making your cabinets look as beautiful as new is making sure the paint adheres to the wood. We accomplish this by thoroughly cleaning every surface of your cabinets, followed by etch sanding, and then by applying an oil-based primer. After our thorough cabinet prep, we apply two coats of Milesi to give you a fantastic finish that’s backed by our Lifetime Touch-Up Promise.

OUR THREE-STEP PROCESS
1. PREP
Protect: Our team of painting professionals utilizes an array of techniques developed over years of experience to protect your home from paint drips or overspray. X-board floor protection is placed on the kitchen floor, due to its exceptional spill block technology. We also utilize both paper and plastic sheeting to ensure your countertops, appliances, and anything else in the area is protected while we are painting your cabinets.
Clean: Once your kitchen is properly prepped, our team will clean your cabinets with warm water and a cabinet-safe degreaser. This ensures we remove all dirt or grease that may have accumulated on your cabinets, protecting the paint from contamination or possible adhesion issues.
Remove Cabinet Doors and Drawer Fronts: After we’re done cleaning, we can remove all of your cabinet doors, drawer fronts, and hardware. These items are taken to our Greenwood office to be pained in our custom spray booth to ensure a durable and smooth finish.
2. ADHESION
3. PAINT AND FINISH
Painting: After priming, we apply two coats of our Italian Milesi paint. Our process mirrors that of kitchen cabinet manufacturers, who have relied on this state-of-the-art two-part polyurethane for years. This method is the platinum standard for cabinet painting, which is why we have adopted it into our process.
Cabinet doors and drawer fronts are taken to our custom-designed spray booth at our cabinet shop to be painted so that we can achieve the best possible finish. Your cabinet boxes will be painted right in your kitchen. This process can either be done with a brush or roller for a little texture, or we can spray them for a factory finish. The choice is yours to ensure your new cabinets look exactly how you want them to. Spraying your cabinets gives you a smooth finish, just like the finish on new cabinets.
After we’ve finished painting, we put your doors & drawer front back on, install your new or existing hardware, and clean up our work area so your kitchen looks exactly as it did before we began our prep work. Then we perform a final quality inspection with you to make sure you’re completely satisfied with the end result.

How long does it take to complete a cabinet painting project?
The average cabinet painting project takes three to five days from start to finish, depending on the number of cabinet doors and drawer fronts.
How much does cabinet painting cost?
A complete kitchen cabinet painting project costs a fraction of replacing them. While more replacement projects cost between $15,000 and $45,000 depending on the cabinet quality, our average cabinet painting project costs just $3,500 to $5,000. The exact costs depends on the number of cabinet doors and drawer fronts. Custom kitchens can be a little higher than $5,000 if they include features like wine racks or oversized doors, or have more cabinets than the average kitchen.
