Homeowners in Westfield, Carmel, and Zionsville trust ALL IN Painting to bring their kitchens back to life. Our specialized cabinet painting process uses premium, furniture-grade coatings to deliver a flawless, factory-smooth finish that lasts for years.
We’ve spent years perfecting our cabinet refinishing process — from prep to finish — to give your kitchen a stunning transformation at a fraction of the cost of new cabinets. Want more than just paint? We can add new hardware, install backsplashes, or enhance your space with accent carpentry like shiplap islands or crown molding.
Unlike many painters who use basic lacquers or trim paints, ALL IN Painting uses a professional-grade Gallery Series Waterborne Topcoat — a European-engineered formula designed for cabinet manufacturers and renowned for its resistance to wear, moisture, and everyday use. The result: rich color depth, long-term durability, and a baked-on finish you’ll love.
Whether you want to minimize your wood grain or highlight its natural texture, we’ll tailor the look to your style. Our process includes deep cleaning, etch sanding, oil-based priming, and two coats of Gallery Series finish — all backed by our Lifetime Touch-Up Promise.
Transform your Westfield, Carmel, or Zionsville kitchen with the area’s most trusted cabinet painting experts.

OUR THREE-STEP PROCESS
1. PREP
Protect: Our ALL IN Painting professionals will utilize all of the techniques we have developed to protect your home and ensure that paint only goes where it is supposed to go. We use X-board floor protection, which is specifically designed with a spill block technology that protects the floor in your kitchen. Paper and plastic are used to protect your counter tops, appliances, and everything else while we paint your kitchen cabinets.
Clean: We clean your cabinets with warm water and a degreaser to remove any dirt or grease that may contaminate the paint or cause adhesion issues.
Remove Cabinet Doors and Drawer Fronts: After cleaning, we will label and remove all door and drawer fronts and hardware, and take them to our custom spray booth located at our Greenwood office.
2. ADHESION
Sanding: The existing finish on your kitchen cabinets, whether stained or painted, will be sanded to etch the surface for optimal adhesion of our primer and paint. Proper adhesion can only be achieved with the cleaning and sand etching process.
Priming: The next step in the process is to apply the Gallery Series Primer. This is a strategic choice that ensures proper paint adhesion and blocks stain tannin bleed through. We provide only the best for our clients who go ALL IN with ALL IN Painting!
*Note: If you have oak cabinets, we will apply a second coat of primer to fill in the dark or shadowing effect of the wood grain. We cannot eliminate the texture look of oak cabinets, but we can give you a solid paint color.
3. PAINT AND FINISH
Painting: We will then apply two coats of our Gallery Series cabinet paint. This process mirrors what the kitchen cabinet manufacturers have used for years on new kitchen cabinets. We have adopted this method because it is a platinum standard for cabinet painting.
All cabinet doors and drawer fronts are sprayed in a custom designed spray booth at our cabinet spray shop. The actual cabinet boxes are painted right in your kitchen. We use either a brush or roller for a minimal texture, or we spray for a factory finish*, depending on your preference. *This smooth finish is just like you would get with brand new cabinets.
After we finish painting, we will put your cabinets back together. We will install new or existing hardware and clean up the work area to its original state. As with all of our ALL IN Painting services, we will perform a final quality inspection with you, our client, to ensure your complete satisfaction.

How long does it take to complete a cabinet painting project?
The average cabinet painting project takes three to five days from start to finish, depending on the number of cabinet doors and drawer fronts.
How much does cabinet painting cost?
A complete kitchen cabinet painting project costs a fraction of replacing them. While more replacement projects cost between $15,000 and $45,000 depending on the cabinet quality, our average cabinet painting project costs just $3,500 to $5,000. The exact costs depends on the number of cabinet doors and drawer fronts. Custom kitchens can be a little higher than $5,000 if they include features like wine racks or oversized doors, or have more cabinets than the average kitchen.
